Who we are

Viridian LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in San Francisco, California ("Viridian," "we," "us"), provides a revenue operating system for healthcare businesses. This policy describes how we handle information in connection with our website at viridian.inc (the "Site"). You can reach us any time at hello@viridian.inc.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the Site only. When we work with a client, that engagement is governed by a separate written services agreement, and where patient information is involved, a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). Those agreements, not this policy, control how client and patient data are handled. Links or redirects from the Site to other websites, including viridianorder.com, are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.

Information we collect

• Information you send us. The Site's contact points are email links. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to include, typically your name, email address, and details about your practice.
• Analytics. We use Plausible, a cookieless analytics service, to understand aggregate Site traffic (pages viewed, referral source, country, device type, and interactions such as clicks on our contact buttons). Plausible does not use cookies and does not store IP addresses or any persistent identifiers; visit data is aggregated and cannot be tied back to you.
• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may log standard request data such as IP address and browser type for security and operations.
• Fonts. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts; your browser's request to Google's servers includes your IP address, and Google's privacy policy governs that processing.

We do not use advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, or tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal information.

How we use information

• To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our services.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Protected health information

The Site is not intended to collect protected health information (PHI). Please do not send patient information through the Site or by email. If you send us patient information before a BAA is in place, we do not act as a business associate with respect to that information and will delete it from our systems. For clients, PHI is handled only under a signed BAA and the terms of the applicable services agreement.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business (such as hosting, analytics, and email providers), when required by law, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention

We keep correspondence and related records only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize them unless the law requires longer retention.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and, for visitors in the EEA or UK, the GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@viridian.inc. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Because the Site does not track visitors over time or across other websites, it does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, and because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of via Global Privacy Control.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls and encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
